Not a mother of the year candidate

So this mom, that is if you can call her a mother, named “Amy”, said that her son gave her the green light to go and see Pacquiao while only her husband stayed with him in the hospital. Amy here also said that she isn’t a bad mom at all. And since Amy couldn’t be by her son’s side for his appendectomy, she decided to postpone it. Why? Because in her mind, seeing Manny Pacquiao is more important.

Nice. Good job, Amy. You suck.

“He probably has appendicitis, he’s in the hospital, but he knows how much Manny means to me so he said, ‘Go, Mom,’” the woman told the Times. “He didn’t want to keep me back.

“I’m not a horrible mom,” she said. “He’s not in total danger. Dad’s there with him.”

She sounds to me like the same kind of mom who would have her child sacrifice pain and discomfort for her little whims because her whim, in her mind, might be a once in a life time… whim. I wonder if she knows the meaning of “priority”.

As a fan of the “Pacman” myself, I can say I will not ever put my children second for even the biggest icon in boxing, especially not if one of them are in the hospital… waiting for a surgery! That would be irresponsible, stupid, selfish, and everything a parent shouldn’t be.

Shame on you, Amy.
